Crawfish Cook-off

The 4th Annual Our Lady of Lourdes Crawfish Cook-off sponsored by Knights of Columbus Our Lady of Lourdes Council No. 8442 will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (2621 Colonial Blvd., Violet, LA 70092). This year over 20 teams will be boiling crawfish. The St. Bernard Rod Knockers will be returning with their antique cars.
This year the admission fee will be $30 per person or $25 if you purchase your tickets in advance. Admission grants you access to all the crawfish you can eat. There is no admission fee for children 10 and under. Soft drinks and beer will be sold at an additional charge. There will also be a people's choice award for both crawfish and antique cars.
Proceeds from the event help fund various charitable causes supported by the Knights of Columbus, including scholarships, the Special Olympics, coats for kids, food banks, Thanksgiving baskets for the needy, Catholic seminarians, and various Catholic organizations including Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
